The Lake of Menteith is in Scotland, in the heart of the Trossachs. The remains of Inchmahome Priory sit on an island in this lake. A small ferry to the island picks up visitors from this little pier near the Port of Menteith. This is my second version of this painting, in a looser, more vibrant style than the first.
